20s wasteland: the end?
Is the end near? Or is the near end? Okay that makes no sense, but you know, come inside and read this stuff.

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again times are tough, and they keep getting tougher. The economy is alarmingly bad, the environment is bad, we’re stuck in an endless war with the wrong people for the wrong reasons… you get the idea. Things are shitty. Over the last couple of months whenever I go to a party or a bar or someplace where people meet and discuss, the talk inevitably goes to the tough times. Hey we all got to vent, and what could help more than knowing you’re not alone in your troubles. One of the reasons I write “20s wasteland” is to get a lot of this stuff off of my chest, and hopefully others read it and understand what I’m saying, or feel what I’m feeling.
But I have to say I see a trend happening that kind of disturbs me. A lot of these long conversations I have with people about our tough times have of late been drifting down a dark road. The Mayan calendar. The Mayan calendar says the world is going to end in 2012, or 2013 (I’ve heard both). Now a good reporter would have gone out and done research about this, I did not. Even if this were a topic on “Penn and Teller’s Bullshit” I’m sure those guys would have figured out why it’s bullshit and explain it to us via a lot of screaming and calling people assholes. Again, I am not prepared. But truth be told, I’m not really out to bash this belief. Or even to disprove it. What I want to say is that in this time of strife our task, no wait, our duty is to look toward the future. You may accuse me of drinking too much of the Obama cool-aid and maybe your right. But Obama’s got the right idea. It’s time to start thinking about the future. Saying the world is going to end is almost too easy. It gives you the right to lethargy, it makes people look at a hard time in history and say "I give up". Well you know what I don’t give up. This might be a tough time, but history has had way more tough times, right now is just the first tough time for the McDonalds generation. That’s right, put down that McGriddle and dream with me. Dream of the future. Anything can be different, anything can be better. America is a young country; hell Earth is a young planet, why not? How do we know? (I’m sure scientist know but let me just go with this) All I’m saying is let’s try to make shit better, and not give in.

Touching.... but 1) I have a job/income/money, so I dont "understand what youre saying, or feel you". 2) The world is ending on December 21, 2012. 3) Fuck Obama and his campaign and his followers.... FUCK ALL YOU HIPPYS! But i did enjoy the Hitler-like rant at the end. NOW IS ZE TIME! ZE TIME FOR ACTION! ZE TIME FOR LIBERTY! DOWN VIT ZE HIPPYS!!!!!!!!!!!
The great depression started when banks lost all their money. then the people who had income lost their money, because it was in banks (keeping it in a sock drawer wont help if the dollar becomes worthless). the middle class is being diminished by McCain and his parties ideologies. It goes like this: they do something retarded to distract the public (planned terror, war, sarah palin, mtv etc) while they rob us blind (consolidation of wealth). Obama is less of the same.
Ron Paul would have been nice, but we should elect him as leader of the militia army once we begin revolting, because that day is FAST approaching. (right around 2012 sounds right.) sorry, no zombies or monsters or asteroids, just a second american revolution. LONG LIVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT - BUY A GUN PROTECT YOR FAMILY FROM THE US
CRALO IS JERICHO
"Obama is less of the same." That sound like a god-damn kicker for a Joe Biden speech.
Aaamen.
